Blood Tests

Serum Creatinine -  Creatinine level more than 1.2 for women and more than 1.4 for men are an early sign of kidney dysfunction

Glomerular Filtration  Rate(GFR) –

Normal GFR = 90 or above.

GFR below 60 = improper function of the kidney.

GFR below 15 risks of kidney failure

Blood Urea Nitrogen (BUN) -  Normal BUN level = 7 to 20.

BUN level above 20 shows a risk of kidney failure
