Dr. Puneet Dhawan explains three ways to keep your kidneys healthy and fit:

  • Practice yoga: Yoga asana like balasan and bhujangasana helps in increasing the life span of kidneys; these asanas leave a positive effect on kidneys. Pranayam, on the other hand, is helpful in relaxing the mind, body, and soul and will make your life stress-free. Yoga helps in improving the immunity power of kidneys.
  • Eat right: Following a renal diet chart should be the priority of kidney patients. Only a perfect diet can help you in combating the kidney diseases from within. Whatever you eat and drink, kidneys take nutrients out from them and manages accordingly. Try to cook food at home rather than buying from the markets. Eat only fresh fruits and vegetables and avoid the frozen ones.
  • Exercise daily: It is necessary to indulge yourself in mild physical activities. The habit of exercising daily will keep your kidneys healthy and in working condition. But don’t put too much stress on kidneys especially if you are having the problem of high creatinine level. Strenuous exercises can increase the creatine in the blood that will eventually increase the creatinine level.

Karma Ayurveda has set a benchmark in the Ayurvedic industry for making almost 35000 kidney patients free from kidney diseases. Dr. Puneet Dhawan being the backbone of Karma Ayurveda is on a mission to cure kidney diseases with only Ayurvedic methods.
