The primary causes of the Nephrotic syndrome include:
- Minimal-change nephropathy
- Focal glomerulosclerosisy
- Membranous nephropathy
- Hereditary nephropathiey
Nephrotic syndrome is caused due to the damage of the tiny blood vessels of the kidney. The glomeruli have a primary function of separating the things that body needs to the devastate products like a sieve. When these glomeruli are vigorous, they keep the right amount of protein in the blood that is needed by the body, removing the rest in through urine. When the patient suffers from this Nephrotic syndrome, it leads in removing lots of protein out of the body through urine.

- Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis:
In this cause, a patient suffers from scars and damage of the glomeruli of the kidney all of a sudden. It can be an internal injury/ infection from any other disease of the patient.
- Membranous nephropathy:
It is the condition when the thickening membranes within the glomeruli happened. This thickening of the membranes is due to many factors like hepatitis B, malaria, lupus and cancer.
When the patient suffers from the Diabetes, the glomeruli of the kidney get affected. It is always advisable to lower the amount of sugar in the diet to keep the health of the kidney better.
- Systemic lupus erythematosus:
This is because due to an inflammatory disease that kidney suffers from. It can lead to the severe kidney failure for the long run.
In this case, the amyloid starts building up in the kidney that can damage the filtering functionality of the kidney. It is due to protein level start to pill up in the organ of the body.
- Blood clot:
It happens when the blood clot blocks a vein that is connected to the kidney. It stops the kidney to filter the blood and make it unfit.
